Q1: How can I know the Members in the on air Room?

A: To check out the Members in the on air Room, click “Members” on Panel (at the top right of the Room). “Member List” is displayed.

Q2: How can I block a user?

A: To block a user on VoiceLink®, it is required  to block him/her on Facebook.

Hold user’s icon. Then, his/her profile dialog is displayed.

Click “Block this user”, then you will move into the associated Group on Facebook. And remove the user from the Group, or block the user on Facebook

Q3: How can I know other user’s profile?

A: Click user’s icon. Then, profile dialog will be displayed.

Click “View Profile”, you will move into the user’s wall on Facebook.

Q4: How can I enter the Speakers’ Area?

A: To enter the Speakers’ Area, click “Microphone” button at the bottom right of the Room.

Q5: How can I leave the Speakers’ Area?

A: To leave the Speakers’ Area, click “Microphone” button (Grey out) at the bottom right of the screen.

If you want to leave the on air Room, click “Arrow” button at the top left of the screen.

Note1: To leave the Room, it is also available to quit the app itself.

If you want to enter the the Speakers’ Area again, click “Microphone” button.

Please note that “Microphone” button is not available when the Speakers’ Area is occupied. (Max 6 speakers)

Q6: How can I mute the microphone?

A: To mute, click “Microphone” button. You can go out of the Speakers’ Area.  Out of the Speakers’ Area, your microphone is muted.

Q7: How can I enter the on air Room?

A: To enter the on air Room, you have the two options below:

(1) Click the Room with “ON AIR”

or

(2) Click “Enter this Room” on Room Details.

Q8: How can I leave the on air Room?

A: To leave the on air Room, you have the three options below:

(1) Click “Arrow” button at the top left of the screen

(2) Click “Exit room” on Panel

(3) Quit the app

Q9: Is chat functionality available in the on air Room?

A: Certainly available. To make use of “Chat” on VoiceLink®, click the “arrow” at the bottom right of the Room.

On “Chat”, you can make use of texting, publishing images via “photo” at the bottom left of Chat. Latest comment is displayed at the bottom of the Speakers’ Area.

To delete your comments, double-click the comment which you want to delete. Please note that it is not allowed to delete the other user’s comment.

Q10: What is “My Media”?

A:“My Media” is a window presentation tool on VoiceLink®, which can be controlled by the Speakers. It allows you to show images and videos you arrange.

When the Speakers play videos on “My Media”, the scene will be automatically synchronized between all of the Room attendees, even if Guest Listners enter into the Room during watching the video on “My Media”. Please note that uploading images and playing Youtube videos are only authorized to the Speakers.

To edit photos and videos on My Media, please refer to the tips below:

(1) Drawer Menu(at the top left of the Roomlist) → “Edit My Media”

(2) Panel (at the top right of the Room)→ “My Media”.

Q11: What is “Dictate”?

A: “Dictate” functionality allows you to dictate what you speak in the on air Room, pasting the texts dictated on Chat.

To make use of this functionality, please refer to the following tips:

(1) Click “Panel” at the top right,
(2) Click “Dictate”,
(3) Allow dictation on the dialog.

Note1: To disactivate, click “Dictate” on Panel again.
Note2: “Dictate” functionality is available on iOS 10 and later. Incompatible with iOS 9.
Note3: “Dictate” functionality corresponds to the language which you set up in “Settings” (“General” → “Language & Region”).

E.g. OS Language; English.
The parts that the Speaker talked in “Spanish” are not dictated.

Note4; Please note that dictated texts may not be consistent with what you said in the on air Rooms, word-for-word.

Q12: Is “Dictate” available on Android devices?

A: Afraid not. “Dictate” functionality is currently available on the iOS devices (iOS 10 and later). It is not fixed whether “Dictate” functionality would be implemented on Android devices in the future period.

Q13: How can I adjust the volume in the on air Room?

A: Basically, please set up the volume on your mobile when to use VoiceLink®.

Q14: How do I close the on air Room?

A: To close the Room, there are two options below:

(1) Click “ON AIR” (Red) at the top right of the Room

(2) Click “Close On Air” on Panel.

Note1: On air Rooms will be automatically closed when there is no one in the Speakers’ Area for over 5 minutes.

Note2: On air Room has its time limit (Max. 3 hours).

Q15: How can I check out “Members List”?

A: To check out the Members in the on air Room, click “Members” on Panel (at the top right of the Room). “Member List” is displayed.

“Member List” displays from above:

(1) Admin(s) of the Room

(2) Member(s) of the Room

Note: Guests are not listed on “Member List”.

Q16: Is it available to scroll the screen?

A: To scroll the screen, hold and drag the blank space. Pinch in/out is also available in the on air Room.
